Our mission is simple, but powerful: Save Them All. Fishy's Friends Rescue is dedicated to helping homeless, feral, lost, and abandoned dogs find love, safety, and forever homes. We believe the key to making this mission a reality is uniting the entire community. Fishy’s Rescue Story: The Heart of Fishy's Friends Rescue
It all started on a cold winter day. On my way home from the market, I spotted a lone dog on the side of the road, wary and elusive. Captivated by his resilience, I returned day after day, calling out "Fishy, Fishy, Fishy!" with a can of sardines in hand, hoping he’d come closer. Over the next six weeks, he would appear and then disappear, but he never forgot the call of "Fishy." Finally, on March 10, 2024, with a devoted team of 15 people and nearly 20 hours of careful planning, we safely brought Fishy off the streets and into my loving home.
Fishy's story didn’t just end with his rescue. It inspired us to create
Fishy's Friends Rescue—a nonprofit dedicated to helping all the "Fishys Friends" out there who need a second chance. Just a month later, on April 16, 2024, we officially became a 501(c)3 rescue, and we’ve been working tirelessly to bring hope to countless forgotten, discarded, and homeless dogs in our community ever since.

What Does Fostering Mean?
Fostering means welcoming a homeless dog into your home and caring for them temporarily until they find their forever family. This small act has an incredible impact—not only for the dog but for shelters and rescues, and for you and your family. And when you foster with Fishy's Friends, it costs you nothing. We cover all vet care and provide the necessary supplies; you just provide the love and transport to vet appointments.
Lost & Found: Helping Pets Reunite With Families
At Fishy’s Friends Rescue, we are committed to reuniting lost pets with their families. Using our Lost and Found page, we track lost and found pets across the area, making it easier for families to find their beloved companions. Our dedicated Lost and Found Coordinator monitors community sources, including Facebook groups, and regularly updates this page with the latest reports on lost and found pets. We also have a comprehensive pet recovery guide.
