We’re always looking for dedicated individuals to join our volunteer staff or lend a helping hand at events, with transport, or wherever it’s needed. Volunteer Process
- Fill Out the Application: Submit your volunteer application to kick off the process.
- Watch Your Email: Keep an eye out for an email from Bold Sign with waivers to sign. Once these are completed, we’ll send you the link to our private Facebook group, Fishy's ALL STAR Volunteer Page, along with a secret code to join.
- Stay Connected: Inside the group, we post volunteer opportunities as they come up. If you’re interested in joining
Team Fishy for more dedicated roles, just let us know on your application!
Ways To Get Involved
- Community Outreach & Marketing: If you’re a people person, join us for coffee and help us build relationships in the community to spread the word about our rescue and grow our network.
- Event Volunteering: Join us for fun events ranging from casual community gatherings to fancy fundraisers! Help set up, run events, and spread joy.
- Host a Fundraiser: Organize a bake sale, raffle, or donation drive to support our rescue. Contact us for resources and tips to make your event a success.
- Transportation Support: Assist us in transporting dogs to foster homes across Oklahoma. Your help can mean the world to a dog in need.
- Partner Shelter Support: Bring your family to volunteer at one of our partner shelters, helping with dog walking, adoption events, and kennel support.
- Foster Assistance: Help our fosters by lending a hand with tasks like vet visits, supply drop-offs, or even fixing a fence!
- Networking & Content Creation: Love words or socializing? Help us write content, share our mission, or spread the word about our rescue to gain support.
- Community Pet Watch Programs: Help us set up Community Pet Watch Programs in your area to keep pets safe and prevent strays.
