Through monthly affordable microchip events and proper tagging, we’re giving pets a permanent chance to find their way home. We’re also installing 8 24/7 chip-scanning stations across Lawton and surrounding areas to make recovery tools accessible anytime, giving pet owners peace of mind.
Our commitment goes further with a dedicated Lost and Found page on our website, featuring resources, tips, and a real-time tracker for lost or found pets. Pet recovery is the heart of our second initiative, and we’re building a system where no pet is overlooked. Together, we’re creating a safer, more connected community for pets and their families.

Our Pet Recovery Initiatives
Monthly Microchip Events
- On the first Saturday of every month, from 10 AM to 2 PM, we host affordable microchip clinics at Petco Lawton.
- $25 CASH: Inserted microchip, free lifetime registration, a BuddyBadge QR code recovery tag.
- These events make it easy for pet owners to ensure their pets have a permanent form of identification, dramatically improving their chances of being reunited if lost.
24/7 Microchip-Scanning Stations
- We are working to establish 8 chip-scanning stations strategically placed across the county:
- 4 at different fire stations in Lawton
- 1 at fire stations/city hall each in Medicine Park, Geronimo, Cache, and Elgin
- These stations will operate 24/7, offering a quick and reliable way for the community to scan lost pets and identify their owners. Packed with tons of resources.
Lost and Found Page with Live Tracking
- We’re building a dedicated Lost and Found page on our website that will include:
- A live Google Map with pins, tags, and pictures of pets to track reported lost and found pets in real time.
- Resources and guidance to help families navigate the recovery process effectively.
- A dedicated team will oversee the page, ensuring it stays updated and accessible for families searching for their beloved pets.
